Fruit salad day
The fruit salad day was held on 6th February 2019. Learning and having fun is what the Kindergarten curriculum encapsulates. As adults we know the benefit of eating fruit and the arduous task most parents face in convincing their children to eat fruit
The Fruit salad party was a fun filled day at the Kindergarten block. The occasion was used to teach the students the health benefits of fruit – one of Mother Nature’s most amazing foods, the colourful variety present in abundance and the benefits of sharing and pooling resources.
Yummy fresh fruits like strawberries, cherries, kiwis, apples and bananas were just some of the fruit that were mixed with delicious ingredients like jelly, custard, condensed milk and cream to make a scrumptious and delectable fruit salad.
Dressed in coloured clothes with a fruit shaped head band and music and dancing, the children had party in school like no other – devoid of junk food of any kind!
Being Healthy is a personal choice every human should be consciously aware of. The best way to make it happen naturally is to adapt to it right from the childhood. Keeping this in mind, we started our learning for Nursery geckos with “Healthy Habits”.
he best part of our party was the open mindedness that our tiny Geckos portrayed while eating the fruit salad that they had prepared. They also appreciated and thanked each other for bringing fruits and enjoyed the fruit salad party!
