Republic day
Republic Day is celebrated in the honour of the date when the Constitution of India came into effect. It was this day when the country’s transformation towards becoming independent had begun. It has been 69 years since India became Republic and it is a moment of pride that our country has made a mark on the global map in almost all streams of popularity. Known for its culture, India has excelled in technological and economical aspects as well.
The national flag was hoisted and the national anthem sung as the tri coloured flag kept fluttering in the free spirited wind. Children performed a beautiful dance on Satya meva Jayate, a choral recitation on “Vir tum badhe chalo”, a strong informative street play on the new India that depicted the importance and advantage of living in a democratic and republican country.
The students from Champion Girls Home gave a dance performance. Finally a patriotic Jugalbandi which was a medley of various songs as Saree jahan se Achha and Hum hai Hindustani. The programme ended with the National song- Vande Mataram. At last , it was shared that let us not pass this republic day as any other holiday. Instead look within and think , whether or not we are fulfilling our fundamental duties.

Chief Guest and the Principal of the school delivers speeches to inform students what they are capable of and how can they take inspiration from the great achievers who have made India proud at the global map.
The entire school staff and students are asked to come in their crisp and neat uniforms on this day. Once everyone gathers, a welcome address is delivered by the school principal.
