Onam

The Onam Day of the Kindergarten Section was celebrated on the end of the academic year​. The Chief Guest was welcomed and accompanied to the auditorium, along with the Principal ​and other staffs. The function began on a ​welcome note. The Junior School children welcomed the parents with a special dance.

Our little graduates looked impressive in their gowns and caps. They stood confidently and sang beautifully, doing their parents and teachers proud.

Onam is an annual Harvest festival in the state of Kerala in India and is associated with Hinduism. It falls on the 22nd nakshatra Thiruvonam in the Malayalam calendar month of Chingam, which in Gregorian calendar overlaps with August–September.
The teachers received the certificates on behalf of the newly graduated students. The Chief Guest, accompanied by our Principal and our Head Primary gave away the certificates.

Our Chief Guest was impressed by the children’s performance and spoke about the significance of the role of parents and teachers in helping the children ‘grow and bloom’.

In conclusion, ​JPS principal rendered the Vote of Thanks. She expressed her appreciation and thanked the entire team for their hard work, dedication and commitment towards making the event a memorable.
